Director
Pumas AI
A pharmacist by training, Haden received his Pharm.D. and an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in 2019, and then accepted a two-year post-graduate fellowship position in the Clinical Pharmacokinetics Research Laboratory at the National Institutes of Health, MD. While at NIH, he coordinated clinical drug-drug interaction studies for multiple antiretroviral drugs, implemented electronic data capture for the lab's ongoing studies, and developed a web application to allow clinicians to easily perform non-compartmental analysis on busulfan concentration-time data.
Since joining Pumas-AI in 2021, Haden has collaborated with Sponsors using advanced simulation techniques to support MIDD submissions, and provided educational outreach for new Pumas users. In addition, he has worked to develop Lyv, a robust, easy-to-use, precision dosing platform currently undergoing feasibility testing at hospitals in India, Canada, and the United States. As a pharmacometrician, Haden believes that pharmacometrics can, and should, be used to improve patient care by supporting clinical decision-making at the patient's bedside. His goal is to help develop the tools and policies needed to make that belief a reality.
