Dr. Rosenthal is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She serves as Co-Director of the Research Initiative on Infectious Diseases and Substance Use, and Associate Chief of Clinical Research at the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland. Dr Rosenthal’s clinical care and research focus on addressing the intersection of infectious diseases and substance use, and conducting community based clinical research in Washington, DC and Baltimore aiming to reduce HIV transmission and improve the continuum of care for marginalized populations with HIV, in particular racial, sexual and gender minorities.
