Jomy George, PharmD currently serves as a Senior Pharmacokineticist at the US Food & Drug Administration, Office of Clinical Pharmacology, Division of Infectious Disease Pharmacology. She attained her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and an Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Fellowship at the University of Illinois Chicago. She has held various positions throughout her career in academia, clinical pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical industry, and now in the federal government. She served as Principal or Associate Investigator on various Phase 1 and 2 clinical research protocols involving therapeutic areas including HIV and oncology. She is actively engaged in the clinical pharmacology community through her involvement with ACCP as well as infectious diseases communities including serving as a Scientific Panel Member for the DHHS Guidelines for the Use of Antiretrovirals in Adults and Adolescents; as a Clinical Pharmacology Panel member for the CDC/NIH/IDSA Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Opportunistic Infections in Adults and Adolescents; and as a Clinical Pharmacology consultant to the NIH COVID-19 Guidelines.
