Brooke is a PhD student at the Center for Translational Medicine, University of Maryland Baltimore School of Pharmacy. Brooke earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Bio-Molecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. For her PhD study Brooke has been focused on using pharmacometrics approaches to aid in decision making and improved dosing in understudied populations including pregnant women, lactating women, infants and people with obesity. Her work focusing on low calorie sweeteners in lactating mothers and breastfeeding infants will be presented as a poster at ACCP 2023 along with her work on prioritizing pharmacokinetic studies in individuals with obesity.
