Amelia Monfared is a PharmD candidate at Chapman University School of Pharmacy with a special interest in pharmacogenomics. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Portland State University. Currently, she serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator at a biotech start-up specializing in the diagnostics of cough sound, where she authored a clinical study protocol for an AI-based pre-screening application. Previously, she held similar roles at Providence Health and Services and Oregon Health and Science University, overseeing study procedures, database management, and ensuring compliance with research protocols. She has presented her research at various conferences, including a poster presentation on the use of ChatGPT in pharmacy practice, and has several notable research experiences and publications. Amelia is passionate about personalized medicine and aims to advance the field through research and clinical work.
