Dr. Ferrari earned (i) MSc in Biological Sciences in 2011 and (ii) PhD in Biomedical Science in 2015 from the Dept. of Biology & Biotechnology of University of Pavia (Italy), and completed her internship at the Laboratory of Pharmacology & Molecular Medicine of Central Nervous System under the supervision of Prof. Roberto F. Villa (ACCP Emeritus), studying the modifications undergone by brain energy metabolism through Functional Proteomics during physiological aging, under pathological condition and after pharmacological treatment. In 2020, Dr Ferrari has earned the degree in Medicine and Surgery (MD) and is at present Medical Reseident in Neurology at the Dept. of Brain and Behavioural Sciences of University of Pavia, studying and providing clinical assistance at the Department of Stroke Unit and Emergency Neurology of IRCCS Fondazione Mondino. She has published over 25 scientific experimental papers, presented oral communications and posters at national and international meetings and has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the ACCP Excellence in Achievement in 2020. In 2023, Dr, Ferrari received the italian qualification as Associate Professor in Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy. Member of ACCP from 2013, she is currently co-chair of the Students, Trainees and Early Professional (STEP) Committee.
